The Dinedor Hill Group won their case against Herefordshire Council that was heard in the High Court on June 26th and June 27th 2008. Bloor Homes as an interested party were refused leave to appeal on November 8th 2008 and withdrew from their last chance for an appeal on March 9 2009. The case concerned giving planning permission for 300 houses at Bullinghope, south of Hereford City. The planning site lay outside the city boundary at the foot of Dinedor Hill, an Area of Great Landscape Beauty. The High Court Judge's ruling upheld the Unitary Development Plan Inspector's decision that Bullinghope was "totally unsuitable" for housing.

Following the final withdrawal of Bloor the Dinedor Hill Action Association returned the money to people who had donated to the cause, and dissolved the Limited Company. The association has reformed as the Dinedor Hill Action Group, whose purpose is to contribute to good planning decisions for the area around Dinedor Hill.
